Ko te tohu, te whakaahuru mōwai o te kotuku i tōna mokopuna, arā, te aroha o te whaea mo tōna tamaiti. Ka titiro whakarunga ki ngā rangi tūhāhā, te timatatanga o te ao, o te mātauranga, heke iho ki te tangata. Kei te whakaatu mai te tapu,te kotahitanga o te wairua me te oranga otira te mauri o ngā mea katoa.

Kia ora ano tatau katoa e te whanau,
We would like to thank all those parents who attended our powhiri on Monday and also our new whanau who have come from nga hau e wha to enroll their tamaiti/mokopuna/iramutu/tamariki into our kura, ahakoa some have returned.
I am posting just to let the whanau know that we have our yearly whanau BBQ happening next week on the 10th February. this is a meet and greet the old and the new and updating whanau on what is happening within our kura and the up and coming events. This will start at 6.00pm and finish at 8.30pm. We would like to ask the whanau to bring a plate to share with everyone.

Our Tau 5–6 students have been given the opportunity to take part in Community Swimming again this year. This is a valuable learning experience, and like all areas of the curriculum, we strongly encourage students to participate.
If you have any concerns regarding your child’s participation, please contact their kaiako at school to discuss this further.

Location: Moana Nui a Kiwa Pool and Leisure Centre
Day: Every Tuesday
Time: 10am-2pm
Please ensure your child has the following:

Goggles (optional)

Te Manu Kai Miro has planned an educational haerenga to Stardome in support of our kaupapa for this term Ao Atea. We will be doing this over 2 days

Location: Stardome Observatory, 670 Manukau Road, Epsom, Auckland
Date: Wednesday 11 February 2026 (Tau 5-6), Thursday 12 February (Tau 7-8)
Time: 10am-2pm.
